HISTORY OF LABRYS: In the past three years
Labrys Atlanta has grown with the Atlanta Lesbian
community thoroughly capturing and documenting our history as a community. The need for a forum such as Labrys
Atlanta is apparent to the growth of any society. The thousands of women that have been represented within the
pages barely encompass our true numbers. We are many, and we are discovering more of each other every day.
WHERE LABRYS IS CURRENTLY: The staff of Labrys
Atlanta has realized that there is more than just a
need for a "magazine". There is a need for a celebration of each other as womyn. We are womyn that are not afraid to
fight for our rights and the freedom to make our own future.
WHERE LABRYS WILL BE: Labrys Atlanta is currently distributed
throuout Atlanta and is expanding
internationally. When we post the current issue of Labrys Atlanta on the website, hundreds of thousands of people
rush to the site to download it. People from major cities all around the world such as New York, Los Angeles,
Tokyo, and Sydney Australia. We are planning to split the magazine into many local publications familiar to these
cities.
Labrys Atlanta is intended to provide a megaphone for the alternative womyn's population worldwide. Labrys was created
so that we may agree and disagree together as a community.
Labrys Atlanta is paid for by the advertisers seen within the magazine. Please help the women's voices be heard
